Managing users

Admins can manage users from the Users page.
- Click the Users link on the left side of the screen to enter the Manage Users screen.
- Click Add User .
- Enter the user's name, username, email address, password, and user type.
- Enable the slider for Add user to Global Contact List to add this user to all users contact list.
- Enable the slider for Send Welcome Email to send the new user setup instructions.
If an email address is not provided, the user will not be able to reset their password. The password entered here is an initial password which can be changed by the user once they have logged in.
- Click the Users link on the left side of the screen to enter the Manage Users screen.
- Click Bulk Add User.
- Enter email addresses or import a list from a CSV file.
The console will automatically create a CSV file with usernames and temporary passwords after uploading a CSV.
The ability to activate and deactivate users within your organization allows administrators to temporarily allow or disallow users to authenticate to Glacier apps.
- From the Users screen, find the user you want to deactivate and click on the ACTIVATED button.
- This will deactivate that user.
- From the Users screen, find the user you want to activate and click on the DEACTIVATED button.
- This will activate that user.
- From the Users screen, find the user you want to edit and click on the pencil icon.
- A popup window will appear, which allows you to edit the user's name, username, and email, and well as send an email with a reset link to reset their password if they have forgotten it.
- From the Users screen, find the user for whom you wish to change their role.
- Use the dropdown menu in the Role column to change the user's role.
Once users are created, if you want to have the Glacier Console send a welcome email with their account information and instructions on how to install and log into the Glacier apps.
- From the Users screen, find the user you want to welcome, and click the mail icon.
- Click Confirm to send the email to the user.
- From the Users screen, find the user you want to delete and click on the trashcan icon.
- Click Confirm to delete the user from your organization.
- From the Users screen, select all users to be deleted.
- Click Bulk Delete to delete the users from your organization.
